Upon the signing “Memorandum of co-operation on retro-commissioning of buildings in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” (MoC), EMSD actively participate the related seminars of Retro-commissioning (RCx) in Greater Bay Area (GBA). On 15 December 2018, EMSD participated in the networking activities with delegates from four MoC signed parties (i.e. South China University of Technology, Building Services Operation and Maintenance Executives Society, The Macao Institution of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers & Hong Kong Green Building Council).
Technical visits to commercial buildings in Greater Bay Area arranged on 14 December 2018, to share valuable experience in RCx between different regions/areas.
EMSD delivered a technical presentation on ‘A Further Step Beyond Operation & Maintenance - the Development of Retro-commissioning (RCx) in Hong Kong’ in the conference. The conference's main theme is “Building energy efficiency and Retro-commissioning”. It provides a platform for knowledge exchange and experience sharing on topics related to retro-commissioning, building energy efficiency, sustainable development as well as new technology application in order to uplift the professional knowledge and experience in energy efficiency and conservation.
During this conference, EMSD collaborated with MoC signed parties to prepare the 1st MoC meeting with the agenda to discuss the action plans for RCx implementation in GBA.
